Best season
Adam’s Peak December to May. Horton Plains January to March. Knuckles is drier February to April and July to September.
Safety information
Leeches are common in the Knuckles after rain, bring socks and salt. Adam’s Peak steps are steep and get crowded on poya days. Weather at 2,000 metres changes fast; carry a shell.
