Airport transfers
Meet and greet at Bandaranaike
Your driver waits inside the arrivals hall with a name board and tracks your flight. Delays cost you nothing — we do not charge waiting time on arrivals.
Flight tracking
We watch your flight number. If you land four hours late at 3am, the driver is still there.
Inside arrivals
Meeting point is inside the terminal past customs, not in the car park. Look for the board.
Fixed price
The rate you are quoted is the rate you pay. No night surcharge, no luggage fee, no toll extras.

Why choose our drivers
A chauffeur-guide is not a taxi driver
Every driver on our fleet holds an SLTDA chauffeur-guide licence, which requires an examination in history, geography, wildlife and first aid. They are salaried, so no one is steering you into a gem shop for commission. Average tenure with us is nine years, and the longest is twenty-two.
- Licensed: SLTDA chauffeur-guide certification, renewed annually
- Salaried: no commission stops, ever
- English speaking, with German, French and Dutch available
- Vetted: police clearance and a clean licence for five years

FAQ
Transport questions
Is the price per vehicle or per person?
Per vehicle. A sedan to Kandy costs the same whether one or two people travel, so transport works out cheaper the more of you there are.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Nothing changes. We track your flight number and the driver waits without charge. If the delay is overnight we will contact you on WhatsApp to reconfirm.
Can we hire a driver for the whole trip but book our own hotels?
Yes, and many independent travellers do. You pay the daily vehicle rate and we cover the driver’s meals and accommodation within it.
Do you offer a Sigiriya taxi service for short local trips?
Yes. We are based in Dambulla, twenty minutes from Sigiriya, and run local runs to hotels, Dambulla, Habarana, Polonnaruwa and Minneriya from USD 12.
Are child seats available?
Yes, free of charge, in three sizes. Tell us your children’s ages when booking so the right seat is fitted before pickup.
How do we pay?
Card or bank transfer in advance, or cash in rupees, dollars, pounds or euros to the driver at the end of the hire. We issue a receipt either way.
